Basic Basketry Techniques: Cedar Trinket Box (Registration closed)
This is a 3" high, 2" x 2" square basket with a lid. It is made with red and yellow cedar using plaiting and twinning techniques.
The class will be online via Zoom in two 3-hour sessions both on Saturday, October 22, 2022: 9am-noon and 1-4pm Pacific time.

Student skill level: Beginning. CBBG members only. Sorry, no option for Canadian members for this class.
Registration is open to CBBG members only. Last day to register is Saturday, October 1. You may cancel your registration and be refunded by October 1. Cancellations after October 1 are non-refundable.
Number of students: 12
What you will need: Small scissors, knife, needle nosed pliers, packing tool, hemostat (optional), small clips, ruler, container with water to soak cedar, and an old towel. Be sure to wear old clothes because cedar can stain.
Cost: $37 ($12 class fee and $25 for materials and shipping.) Weaving materials will be shipped to you prior to your class.
*Students are encouraged to use a workspace camera for demonstration, questions, and problem solving* We ask participants to use their smartphone as a camera on their work, using a DIY camera stand.
