Description: This striking basket, 7″ x15″, is double walled. The inner basket features shades of space-dyed red reed in various sizes of weavers. The exterior basket is woven in natural reed with a zigzag pattern woven in. It is later overlaid with the same space-dyed reed used on the inside. It has a cat’s head base, dyed rim fillers, red leather handles, and an interesting rim lashing. A very substantial basket, it is an easier type of double wall to weave because of its construction.

Tools needed: Bucket for water, awl, shears, pencil, measuring tape, knife or scarfing tool. *We strongly encourage you to have a second (smartphone) camera over your workspace for demonstration, questions, and problem solving.
