March’s 4th Monday Mini Class: Think Small

Make a twined miniature basket, less than 1 inch, out of available materials. This is a great way to use up scraps, while also making something beautiful. We will talk about scale in sizing materials as well. No materials will be sent out, you will need to supply and prepare your own.

Date and time: Monday, March 27th, 2023; 6:30 - 9:30 pm PDT

Location: Online via Zoom; link will be sent out to registrants

Number of students: 12

Cost: $6 Class fee. Students will be providing their own materials

Supplies needed: small scissors, tweezers or hemostat, small packing tool or tapestry needle, and materials for weaving.

Materials that would be great for weaving include: waxed linen or other thread, small pieces of cedar bark or other barks, small roots such as spruce or cedar, leaves such as iris, daffodil or day lily. Pieces should be at least 3” long.
