Location: Multnomah Arts Center Dance Studio. (7688 SW Capitol Hwy, Portland, OR)

Cost: $10. (There is a flat, non-refundable $10 fee per table. Multiple vendors may be at a table, if desired.) Register by clicking “add to cart” below.

Description: CBBG is sponsoring a Basket Sale event for its members in the greater Portland-Vancouver area. Bring your own table, and you are ready to go! This is an opportunity for any Guild member to sell their baskets to other members, friends, and the public. It’s also a chance for those with little “inventory” to sell in a friendly, non-competitive atmosphere.

Who can participate? Any CBBG member is invited to participate. If you are not a Guild member, but would like to become one, click here.

How will the sale work? CBBG has reserved the MAC Dance Studio. Set up is at 9:30 am and doors open at 10. You must bring your own table, and any linens, decorations, stands and lighting (including extension cords) that you want for your display. You must bring your own cashbox and staff your own table the entire 5 hours, serving as cashier. CBBG will not provide staffing. Take down in time to vacate the studio by 3:30 pm will be the seller’s responsibility.

Who can purchase? Invite your friends and family. Buy holiday gifts! The sale is open to the public and will be held during the Multnomah Arts Center Winter Arts & Crafts Sale.

Do I pay a commission on what I sell? No. Sellers will be their own cashiers and neither CBBG nor the MAC will take any commission.

What should I charge for my baskets? Pricing is up to you. Neither CBBG nor the MAC will take a commission.

How will CBBG promote the event? The Guild will announce and promote the event to members through the website, newsletter and emails. We’ll post it on our Facebook page. At the event there will be signage directing visitors to the Dance Studio. Members are encouraged to tell their friends and families, too!
