May 4th Monday: Wall Piece with Air Plant
May 4th Monday: Wall Piece with Air Plant
Come make a mobile, an indoor/outdoor hanging piece. In this mini class you will learn to weave with a continuous twill or plaited pattern on a flat piece of uneven wood. (The completed project is a beautiful piece of beach wood on one side and your beautiful weaving on the other) This is a chance to weave something not in the round, to take basketry techniques and apply them to a sculptural form. It is also a chance to apply your own aesthetic and design to a project in a low risk way.
*Important note on registration and receiving materials* Registration is open to CBBG members only. You will pay online and enter your address as part of the check-out process. This way we will be able to mail your class materials to you. You may cancel your registration and be refunded by May 8th. Cancellations after May 8th are non-refundable.
