We will be cutting holes through the gourds for light to come through from the inside to make a luminary.

Gourd needed:

Any shape or size of gourd will work. Have gourds cleaned inside and outside with a hole cut in the bottom and sanded flat. Cut and cleaned gourds will be available to purchase for $5 to $10 each. Contact Jim if you need one, mac13kid@gmail.com.  

Tools Needed:

Dust mask, cordless drill with various size drill bits, pencil, mini jigsaw (there will be some to use if you don’t have one), a design, files with flat and curved faces, small Christmas light. Also, materials to finish the outside such as wood-burner, paints, ink dyes, or acrylics.
