CBBG members have the opportunity to acquire fine baskets at a fraction of their market value. The Guild is auctioning 32 pieces from the Christenson Collection, which was donated to CBBG in 2016. Proceeds will support ongoing Guild programs as well as the scholarship fund.

An auction catalog has been emailed to all CBBG members. You also can view and download the catalog here.

Bidding is noon, Thursday, October 15 through 8 pm Sunday, October 25. 

Most of the baskets offered are Native American; they include Haida, Micmac, Tohono O’odham, Cherokee, Passamaquoddy, Mohawk, Ojibwa, and Iroquois. There also are Gullah and European baskets in the collection.
