Class Description: Carol Horvath will teach a diagonally plaited willow bark basket, with two class basket options as illustrated in the photo. Prior to class, participants will receive a google doc with written and illustrated instructions, including a link to a video uploaded to youtube for completing the border and final steps. Carol will mail materials kit to participants.

Registration for this class will be done online at www.basketryguild.org You will pay online and enter your address as part of the check-out process. Last day to register is October 16. This way we will be able to mail your class materials to you, a week before class!

Supplies needed: large bowl, pan water and/or a spray bottle; 8 micro clips, old towel, ruler, small awl with a flat-ish tip, and scissors with a small pointed tip
We will use the DIY camera stand for demonstration, questions and problem solving. For the camera stand (we will forward directions when we get your registration) you will need: A smartphone. Two tall full bottles (e.g. wine, Martinelli, 2 liter pop). Yard stick or other similar flat piece. Tape to hold the yard stick on top of the bottles. Rubber bands to hold the phone.
