Make a pair of silk and paper twist earrings (or a single medallion if you prefer). Learn to make a pattern in a coiled basket, how to manipulate and add color, and start and end the coil. We will finish one earring in class. There will be some choice of colors. This will qualify as a miniature.

We ask participants to use their smartphone as a camera on their work, using a DIY camera stand. Click here for full directions.
For the camera stand you will need:
A smartphone
Two tall bottles full (wine, Martinelli bottles, 2 liter pop, etc.)
Yard stick or other similar flat piece
Tape to hold the yard stick on top of the bottles
Rubber bands to hold the phone
A work light helps to get light on your weaving while under the camera.
