Weave a cedar necklace using western red cedar bark, beads, and waxed linen. The basket is approximately 1½” x 1½”; the strap is 26” but can be made longer or shorter. Long-time CBBG member Marge Meyer designed this little gem; when Marge moved out of the area, she gave Barbara permission to teach it.

We ask participants to use their smartphone as a camera on their work, using a DIY camera stand. Full directions are HERE
For the camera stand you will need:
A smartphone
Two tall bottles full (wine, Martinelli bottles, 2 liter pop, etc.)
Yard stick or similar flat long stick
Tape to hold the yard stick on top of the bottles
Rubber bands to hold the phone
A work light helps to get light on your weaving while under the camera.
