Materials: Danish cord to complete the necklace pendant and cord, Danish cord for two earrings, and earring findings for two earrings.
Tools: White glue, embroidery scissors or basketry scissors, spray bottle, small jewelry pliers or small needle-nose pliers, magnifying glass if you need it for close work, good lighting.
Description: Cathryn Peters will lead us in creating a lovely Chinese Pipa Knot necklace and set of earrings entirely from Danish cord in this one-hour class, during our December Hands-on General Meeting. The figure-eight Pipa Knot is named after the Chinese pipa instrument that looks somewhat like a lute.

Note: to avoid the $5 registration fee, you may supply your own materials. You will need: about 5 ft of 3-mm, single-strand cord (Danish, cotton, poly, or hemp), a piece of waxed linen or thread for the finish of the pendant, and a set of earring findings.
