July General Meeting
Location: Multnomah Arts Center, in the Auditorium (7688 SW Capitol Hwy, Portland)
Date & Time: Thursday, July 20, 2023. 6:30 pm PDT: Set up and PIZZA! 7:15 pm: Business meeting, followed by festivities
Cost: $5 cost (non-refundable)

Join us to celebrate summer. In lieu of our past December holiday party, we will instead gather in July with a basket raffle and a brown-bag gift exchange. We’ll have pizza and salad, beverage and cake. Party time!
Basket Raffle
We will have a basket raffle similar to that which we do at the retreat each year. Members are invited to donate baskets. All those coming to the party will get one free raffle ticket. Those donating baskets will receive an additional four tickets for each basket they bring. Additional raffle tickets also will be for sale at $1 each. For this raffle, items do not need to be your own creation. Class baskets also are welcome.
Gift Exchange
Bring a basket or basketry related item (tools, materials, book, calendar, whatever) “wrapped” in a plain brown grocery bag for the exchange. Add a note inside the bag so the recipient knows whom to thank for the special treasure. Staple the bag closed so there can be no peeking! This is optional. Those who bring a gift will get a gift.
Please note: Although CBBG has eased its Covid requirements, we remind members that the majority of CBBG’s population is among the most vulnerable. If you have been exposed to Covid or feel ill, you must test for Covid and may attend a class or event – masked – only if you test negative. We want everyone to feel relaxed and be safe. We encourage members to mask up if they feel more comfortable doing so. And we strongly encourage everyone to keep their vaccinations and boosters up-to-date.
