A study group of the Columbia Basin Basketry Guild
Our September meeting will be Vinyl Resist Fall Leaves. This is a fun easy project that anyone can do. Perfect for fall decorating or gift giving. You will be able to finish the project at the meeting. The best part is the Northwest Gourders are providing the supplies needed for the project (except the gourd).
Supplies will be provided by the Northwest Gourders. We will use the following if you want to bring your own: ½”& 1/8” masking tape, black Fine tip Sharpie, brown fine tip Sharpie, Transparent Acrylic (Terra Cotta, Cinnamon, Toffee), gold leaf, black gold leaf adhesive, UF Clear Acrylic Spray, sea sponge, woodburners, vinyl.
Tools Needed:
Files/rasp/fingernail file, sharp scissors, straight pin, #2 pencil, baby wipes, paper towels, small paint brush, heat tool, soft cloth or sponge brush (1” wide), vinyl gloves, wood burner with skew tip
Room Rental: $5 (bring to meeting)
What to bring:
Tools needed – please bring what you can of the following:· Pencil, Pen,· White eraser, Tissue paper, Carbon paper,· Blue tape, Brushes: #1-2, #6-8, Colorless masking fluid, Alcohol inks: White, yellow, terra cotta, indigo and purple twilight,·91% rubbing alcohol,·Small sprayer, ·Fabre-Castell Pitt Pen black.
