August 4th Monday: Stone Netting

In this class we will be creating and designing a net around a palm sized semiprecious stone. You will learn and use a technique called knotless netting or single looping to weave a net to hold the exact shape of your stone. There will be room to play and experiment with the technique as well as the shape and form of your net.
