Weave a small willow bark basket. Sample is 2-3/4” x 1-1/4” x 4-1/4”. The base is woven flat and the sides are plaited around a mold. The basket rim is twined. Students can embellish with Japanese-styled “Xs” or create their own design. Basket is inspired in part by both Polly Adams Sutton and Donna Sakamoto Crispin.
