About this class:
This class is designed for beginners with little-to-no basket weaving experience and with a focus on basic weaving techniques that can be applied to many different materials. In this class, students will learn fundamental basketry techniques including plaiting and twining to weave a small vessel using a variety of plant materials such as cattail, day lily, iris, and blackberry (seasonally dependent).
