About this class

Brooms.png

Students can make their choice of 3 corn brooms with their first project being either a turkey wing or braided cobweb broom. Turkey wing brooms can be either whisk or handled and braided brooms include hearth, shaker/flat and round styles. Jill will provide 3 professional broom handles per student but driftwood, vine-choked wood, chair spindles, pool cues, grandma’s old cane, anything that isn’t too thick and won’t break when you whack it hard against a tree is a good option for students to bring.
